NBTA Scholarship Applications Now Available
J. Mercer Johnson, III AZBTA Allied Member Professional Development Scholarship
This professional development scholarship was created and named in the honor of AZBTA board member J. Mercer Johnson, III after he passed away in 2008. Because Mercer was so passionate about this industry and AZBTA, the board unanimously voted to create this scholarship, as this was the best way to honor our friend and colleague.
The Mercer Johnson Professional Development Scholarship is open to any AZBTA Allied member in good standing. Scholarship funds may be used for any NBTA recognized continuing education program (CTE, CCTE, GLP, etc.) but in no event will the value of the scholarship exceed $500.
AZBTA Direct Member Professional Development Scholarship
This scholarship is for tuition reimbursement for an industry/job related course, can be used to offset the registration cost of attending NBTA's national convention. The scholarship can be used for one or more of the aforementioned purposes but in no event will the value of the scholarship exceed $500.
This scholarship is offered to promote continuing education for the AZBTA membership and to encourage participation in NBTA. All applications will be judged on their content and the reasons why the scholarship will enhance the skills of the member and/or assist the AZBTA membership at large.
