An important goal within the National Business Travel Association's (NBTA) mission is to advance the professional development of those in the business travel industry. To support this initiative, each year, NBTA awards scholarships to qualified NBTA members. These scholarships include Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) scholarship grants, the Independent Studies Program scholarships and scholarships to the Global Leadership Program at the Wharton School.

AZBTA Educational Scholarship: Arizona Business Travel Association will award a local scholarship of $500 to the selected member for the use of furthering their education of the travel industry. These funds may be used at the digression of the selected member toward CCTE, CTE, National Convention or other industry recognized programs.

AZBTA/NBTA Convention 2009 Scholarship: If selected, the member will receive a grant to cover the convention registration fee, as well as the cost of the hotel expenses. Scholarship grants will be awarded at the July AZBTA meeting. The deadline for this scholarship application is June 1, 2009 back to AZBTA.

CCTE Scholarship Grants: There is a $2,000 grant available through NBTA for Certified Corporate Travel Executive accreditation. If you are selected, you will receive a grant which will be allocated to the CCTE Program, including Core Week 1, Core Week II, and/or CCTE Elective Courses. Scholarship grants will be awarded at the 2009 NBTA Annual Convention held August 20-24, 2009 in San Diego, CA. Applications must be sent and received by NBTA by June 1, 2009.
